David Geske - Managing Partner
David has over fifteen years of private equity fund raising experience. Over the years, he has worked extensively with various European banking institutions both in Europe and in the U.S. Most recently, he headed the private equity placement business for the German bank HypoVereinsbank out of its New York branch, where he focused on placing both U.S. and non-U.S. venture capital, buyout, and special situations funds with U.S. and European institutional and private investors. Prior to this, he worked with the Austrian bank Creditanstalt in both Vienna and New York placing both private equity funds and direct equity investment deals with global investors. David has specialized sector expertise in technology, natural resources, and defense & aerospace as well as regional experience in not only the U.S. and Europe but also in emerging markets including Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, and the former Soviet Union. David has a Masters in Business Administration from Columbia University in New York. He also has a Masters in International Affairs and Russian Studies from the School of International and Public Affairs, Columbia University. He obtained a Bachelors of Arts in physics/astrophysics with a minor in Russian studies from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He is fluent in German and Russian. |
